Grad Night offers safe celebration

This year, Grad Night, a school-sponsored, alcohol- and drug-free party for graduating seniors, is scheduled to take place at Glenbrook North on June 3 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Seniors will not be allowed to leave the party for any reason until the next morning.

Seniors can pick up their tickets in the gym lobby on May 24 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or on June 1 between 7:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Students must show their student I.D. to receive their free ticket.

According to Grad Night chairman Kent Figge, the all-night celebration is a product of “hundreds of hours of hard work” from the Grad Night committee and numerous donations from the Northbrook community.

“Grad Night is a great way to safely congratulate our seniors, and everyone has fun,” Figge said. “It’s definitely not something to miss.”
