Weather permitting, snowshoeing is scheduled at the Chicago Botanic Garden from 8 a.m. until sunset. Participants must bring their own snowshoes. There is no cost to go snowshoeing, but parking is $25.
February 3-13
Students can purchase Singing Valentines from a Chorale or Cecilian choir member. Students can also buy Singing Valentines at the ticket booth. They are scheduled to be delivered during block 4-5 on Feb. 14.
February 22
The annual Turnabout dance is scheduled from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Student Cafeteria. The individual ticket price is $15 in advance at the bookstore or $20 at the door. Student IDs are needed to purchase tickets.
February 25-26
Student Written and Directed One Acts are scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. in Room E110. Tickets will be available for purchase a week before at the ticket booth and door for $5 or free with an activity pass.
February 25-26
Auditions for the Glenbrook production of Legally Blonde are scheduled at GBN on Feb. 25 and GBS on Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m. on both days. Students need to have the audition material prepared to try out. For more information, visit (gbntheatre.com.)
March 2
The Chicago Polar Plunge is scheduled at North Avenue Beach with starting times at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Participants are asked to raise a $150 minimum for Special Olympics Chicago athletes. March 30
The Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K is scheduled in Grant Park. The first wave of runners is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and a second for 9:15 a.m. Participants can register online at (shamrockshuffle.com.) Registration is open to everybody with an entry fee of $45 until 40,000 participants register.
