May 27

The Spring Sports Awards Ceremony is scheduled to take place in the CPA from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. All-conference athletes, team successes and MVPs will be announced, and afterward teams are planning to present awards. Athletes are asked to dress in business casual attire. All are welcome.

May 30

After the Senior Breakfast, which is scheduled in the Main Gym from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., graduation rehearsal will begin at 9 a.m. in the CPA for all seniors. Students are required to attend the entire rehearsal in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

June 1

Grad Night 2014 is scheduled for all graduates from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. A Grad Night ticket as well as a school ID are required for admittance at the cafeteria entrance. Food and beverages will be provided, as well as music, dancing, sports, games and more. Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. Students are welcome to bring their cell phones, camera and yearbook.

June 4

An Evening of A Cappella featuring Fermata Nowhere and Ow! is scheduled to be held in the student mall from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. In case of rain, the concert will be held in Room E103. Tickets cost $7 and can be purchased from any member of Fermata Nowhere, Ow! or music teacher Andrew Wallace in the choir department.

June 13-15

The Chicago Blues Festival will take place in Grant Park, where musicians such as Billy Boy Arnold, Bettye LaVette and Dr. John are scheduled to perform. Entry is free for all.

June 9-13

Taste of Chicago is scheduled  in Grant Park from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free, and attendees can park at Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage for $30 a day.
