Girls lacrosse hits ground running
May 23, 2013
Midfielder Caitrin Holohan (right) cradles the ball during a 19-3 loss at Glenbrook South on April 30. Eleven days earlier, the team beat Palatine 9-8, a team that Glenbrook North lost to last season. The team has pulled through in other close games, such as a 13-12 victory against Fremd. Midfielder Shayna Lutz and attacker Tori Winner both scored multiple goals in the win. “They got down 5-nothing … and we didn’t panic,” said Rosenbaum. “They worked together as a group and as a team, and they came back…The other team tied it, and in the last 30 seconds we went up and scored. It was just a great game.” Photo essay by Sonia Ehrlich.
