Fall play offers new dynamic

This year’s fall play, “The Good Doctor,” is scheduled to be held in the CPA on Oct. 19 and 21 at 7 p.m. as well as Oct. 20 at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold in the SAC during the week of the show for $8 or free with an activity pass. They can also be purchased at showtix4u.com or at the door, but seating is limited, according to Theatre Director Julie Ann Robinson.

The Good Doctor,” a comedy set in Russia, is comprised of a series of short stories written about a man suffering from a case of writer’s block. There are two to five actors in each scene but no main character other than the writer, who narrates the show.

Senior Emily Chang, Theatre Club president, said she is excited to work on this year’s comedy because it allows for a new type of group dynamic.

“I’m really excited now that we’ve cast an ensemble and we’ve started working on individual scenes,” said Chang. “It’s cool to bond within that scene but also as a cast.”
