Peppermint bark
Break apart burnout, one peppermint piece at a time.
Ingredients
– 6 ounces dark chocolate chips
– 6 ounces semi-sweet milk chocolate chips
– 6 ounces white chocolate chips
– 1½ teaspoons vegetable oil
– ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
– 4 crushed candy canes
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cool time: 20 minutes
Yield: 12 large pieces
Instructions
1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. For first layer, microwave dark chocolate with ½ teaspoon of oil, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
3. Stir in ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract.
4. Pour onto baking sheet, and refrigerate for 3 minutes.
5. For second layer, microwave semi-sweet chocolate with ½ teaspoon of oil, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
6. Mix in 2 crushed candy canes.
7. Pour on top of dark chocolate, and refrigerate for 3 minutes.
8. For top layer, microwave white chocolate with ½ teaspoon of oil, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
9. Pour on top of semi-sweet chocolate layer.
10. Top with 2 crushed candy canes.
11. Refrigerate for 20 minutes, and break apart.
Holiday Fudge
Sweeten your study sesh one square at a time.
Ingredients
– 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 3 ounces white chocolate chips
– 14 ounces of condensed milk
– 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 candy canes, crushed
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cool time: 1 hour
Yield: 32 pieces
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
2. Add semi-sweet chocolate and 7 ounces of condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl.
3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
4. Stir in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
5. Pour fudge into pan.
6. In a second bowl, add white chocolate and remaining 7 ounces of condensed milk.
7. Repeat step 3 and add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
8. Pour white chocolate on top of semi-sweet chocolate fudge.
9. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
10. Refrigerate for 1 hour and enjoy.
Hot chocolate mug cake

Ingredients
– ½ cup all-purpose flour
– 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
– ⅓ cup cocoa powder
– ½ teaspoon baking powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 2 shots of espresso
– ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 3 minutes
Yield: 1 large mug
Instructions
1. Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a mug.
2. Add espresso shots, oil and vanilla extract and stir until there are no clumps.
3. Mix in chocolate chips.
4. Microwave for 3 minutes.
