Safety Day had all eight blocks in one day for a shortened amount of time to discuss safety procedures for each class and extra time for safety drills and an assembly. Decreased student attendance and repetitive conversations about safety plans made this day less engaging and effective than it could have been. Graphic by Erin Jeon.
